staying in sg long made me realised that knowledge and living skills cannot be taken away from you. this is where i learned to stand up, and apply the things mum taught me at home. ( which i hardly do) Here i have to to my own laundry, clean the room , throw rubbish, take care of my own meals, remember to bring my keys, plan ahead for transport etc.
i actually had a choice to keep all my laundry and bring 'em home during weekends, but i dislike the idea of carrying a luggage here and there every week.
i don't have radio, television, and comp here at the moment.distraction-less this is where singing church songs unto God soothe my soul a bit. thank God for some christian housemates, and CF where we get connected with members from the body of Christ.
staying with friends oso strengthened our bonds a lot. As there is nothing much to do now, we have lot's of chatting sessions, card games and visit to friends' houses. that's where we share ideas on house arrangements, recipe etc.
we oso have a swimming pool in our condo. looks like i'm gonna be hired as a swimming instructor soon. haha.
thank God for this opportunity to learn, it is indeed a new phase of my life. surely there will be hiccups along the way, but i will and choose to put my trust in Him.
