when we are young, dreams are dreams, conceived in the mind without need for rationale, we can let our minds take us anywhere we let it to be, anything and everything is possible in dreams. we can't wait to grow up... work our dream job, earn a happy and wonderful living, meet your dream guy/gal, have a dream wedding/ garden party, and live in a warm cosy beautiful house overlooking breath-taking scenaries... aaah.. such woven fairy tales that will almost certainly guarantee a happy ending are pictures of ideals.. something we never want it to end.
is it really possible for us to live our dreams?
must we compromise or bring down our ideals to reality? or is it not for us to decide?
i'm now apporoaching a cross road in my life... where to? after i graduate? to think long term is to further pursue professional qualifications full time so that i can fully concentrate... to seek out something new is to step foot into the working world, study part time or continue later. boy, am i ready for this? job hunting, interviews, fix working hours, bosses etc... phew, maybe i'm thinking too much...
